GRE Manufacturing (CDN) Inc. was formed in 2001 to process and manufacture glass abrasive blasting media (crushed glass) for a variety of uses. In 2009 the company received a World Wide Patent on the main piece of equipment that processes the raw glass prior to screening the material into various sizes. In 2013 we added the brand name GRE-Grit™ to our line for ease of identification of our high-quality product.

GRE Manufacturing is able to process 18-20 tonnes of GRE-Grit™ raw glass per 8 hour shift. We are able to produce any kind of grit required for certain jobs. We use only hard plate glass that has a rating of 6-7 on the Mohs hardness test. The abrasives for blasting that we produce is far superior than glass blasting beads produced from Blue Box bottles.
